The Armorvest AV20 series of vests are at the serious end of the scale. These vests are made to exacting standards to meet the highest threat levels. The designs are practical and proven in the field. There are a wide range of options available, which can make this vest as capable as required. They are manufactured in heavy Cordura and are very durable and easy care. A full range of tactical colours are available, but can be made to your specifications. The ballistic protection is of the highest order. This is serious armour for serious situations. The armour is so light it floats on water!

Ballistic Helmets and Faceshields

Ballistic Helmets
Our ballistic helmets are constucted of Twaron aramid fibre. They are designed to provide full frontal protection through superior ballistic protection. Its intenrnal head harness has a shock absorbing padding. Various designs are available from several manufacturers providing protection from Level 2A to Level 3A.



Faceshields
Manufactured from a tough scratch-resistant acrylic front plate and Polycarbonate inner plate, this faceshield offers excellent ballistic protection to the face. It is curved to ensure full coverage from the brim to below the chin and is attached by a uniquely designed helmet bant fasteneing system which enables quick attachment and removal of the face shield to most ballistic helmets. The face shield will defeat a 9mm FMJ 124 grain round at 1200fps.

Strike Plates - Australian Made.

Spectra Strike Plates-Australian made.

These strike plates or often refered to as SAPI or HPPE and are our new top of the line lightweight armour range. As stand alone plates, they are made from 100% super light weight Spectra® PCR Plus fibre.

They are available as matching front and back plates.

Due to their lightweight construction, they have buoyancy and flotation capabilities.

Silicon Carbide Strike Plates-Australian made.

Developed as a result of research into aircraft armour, this ultra lightweight high performance S.A.P.I plate provides excellent ballistic performance with very little weight. This is for the discerning buyer who wishes for ultimate performance.

This universal size plate can be worn as both a front or back plate.

The CIB18 is the top of the range and designed to be used in conjunction with a NIJ IIIA rated vest.

At 1.55kg it is one of the lightest Level 111+ plates available in the world today. This ensures superior performance by personnel in the field.

The CIB-BP19 is the replacement to the previous CIB-BP17 plate. Further research and development has allowed improvement to the overall weights making this the lightest NIJ III+ ballistic plate on the world market today.

Currently being used by the Australian Defence Force.
