CPP30607 Certificate III in Investigative Services

NATIONALLY RECOGNISED TRAINING

The NSW Security Industry Registry has selected units of competency required for licencing from the CPP07 Property Services Training package for the Commerical Agent or Private Inquiry Agent industry. 

This course is designed for those who are currently working in or wishing to work within the Private Inquiry Agent Industry. This course involves giving you the skills and knowledge to act as a Private Inquiry agent and also as a Surveillance Operator. It involves statement taking, court preparation, creating briefs of evidence, foot surveillance, vehicle surveillance.

The selected units of competency include:

Core units:

• BSBFLM303C - Contribute to effective workplace relationships 
• BSBWOR301A - Organise personal work priorites and development
• CPPSEC3001A - Maintain a safeworkplace and environment
• CPPSEC3009A - Prepare and present evidence in court
• CPPSEC3026A - Work effectively in investigative services industry
• CPPSEC3027A - Develop investigative plan
• CPPSEC3028A - Compile investigative report
• CPPSEC3029A - Provide quality investigative services to clients
• CPPSEC3030A - Conduct surveillance
• CPPSEC3031A - Organise and operate a surveillance vehicle
• CPPSEC3032A - Gather information by factual investigation
• CPPSEC3033A - Conduct interviews and take statements

Electives:

• CPPSEC3012A - Store and protect information
• CPPSEC3034A - Operate information gathering equipment 
• FNSMERC304B - Locate subjects

Once you have successfully completed all the above units you then are issued a Certificate III in Investigative Sevices CPP30607

You can then apply for a CAPI licence to perform Investigate Persons (IP) and Surveillance of Persons (SP)
