Chemical Munitions Instructor

Our Chemical Munitions Instructor Course covers dual Defense Technologies &Federal Laboratories certification. It examines the forms of chemical agents & technological advancements in pyrotechnics, blast and aerosol munitions.

Topics include

• escalation of chemical deployment,
• crowd control principles & out-door considerations.
• Barricaded Subjects & space denial are examined.
• The characteristics OC/CS/CN are all looked at in detail.
• Incapacitating and Lethal Dosages (lct50-Lct50) are studied.

The practical aspects of the course include hands-on training with tactical deployment with hand held grenades, 40mm & 37mm Launchers during the live fire component of the course Decontamination & First Aid are examined & tested. Protective Mask drills include vision impaired & oxygen depletion Drills. Criminal & Civil Liabilities are looked at together with Departmental Policy & Procedures.

These courses are only open to current Police, Corrections, Military or Law Enforcement Instructors. Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training or Departmental Instructor qualifications are a prerequisite.

This is a two day course. ( VAS-CMI)
