Provisional - 1D Dog Handler
With recent changes within the NSW Security Industry and the implementation of the CPP07 Property Services Training Package, new entraints are required to obtain a statement of attainment respective of the licence classes they wish to hold and duties they wish to perform.
The NSW Security Industry Registry has selected units of competency required for licencing from the CPP07 Property Services Training Package for the following licences 1D - Dog Handler
Classroom delivered units:
- BSBFLM303C Contribute to effective workplace relationships
- BSBWOR301A Organise personal work priorities and development
- CPPSEC2003A Work effectively in the security industry
- CPPSEC3001A Maintain workplace safety in the security industry
- CPPSEC3002A Manage conflict through negotiation
- CPPSEC3003A Determine response to security risk situation
- CPPSEC3005A Prepare and present security documentations and reports
- CPPSEC3006A Coordinate a quality service to clients
- CPPSEC3007A Maintain security of environment

- CPPSEC2011A Control access to and exit from premises
- CPPSEC2014A Operate basic security equipment
- CPPSEC2015A Patrol premises
- CPPSEC3010A Manage dogs for security functions
- CPPSEC3011A Handle dogs for security patrols
Once you have successfully completed all the above units you then are issued a statement of attainment for the units listed above the dotted line. It is then a requirement from the NSW Security Industry that you are then assessed in your workplace a minimum of three (3) times on the units below the dotted line before being issued a full CPP30407 Certificate III in Security Operations and obtaining a full unrestriced NSW Sercurity Licence.

Note: A Senior First Aid certificate bearing Workcover NSW's 'FA' approval number or a Statement of Attainment for competency unit HLTFA301B (apply First Aid) is also required when you apply for a licence.
