RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

Today, RSA training is mandatory for everyone in NSW who is involved in the sale and supply of liquor to the public. This includes licensees, club secretaries, serving staff and security staff working at licensed venues. There are no exemptions from undertaking the course.

AIM

To provide participants with an understanding of NSW Liquor Licensing legislation, and to be able to serve alcohol responsibly using harm minimisation approaches and appropriate alcohol service strategies maintaining appropriate customer relations.

 

 

OUTCOMES

At the end of this course participants will be able to:

 

1/         Identify the context of responsible service of alcohol

 

 

2/         Identify the legislative framework for responsible service of alcohol

 

 

3/         Identify the impact of alcohol abuse

 

 

4/         Implementing responsible service of alcohol strategies

 

 

5/         Measuring the outcomes of responsible service of alcohol on premises
